Elaine Uppal is a Senior Lecturer in Midwifery at the University of Manchester, UK. She is currently writing up her PhD thesis: ‘Interprofessional Learning in a Community of Child Protection Practice’. She has an interest in Child Protection and has co-authored a book: Powell, J. & Uppal, E. (2012) Safeguarding babies and Young Children for Early Years Professionals.
