Biography
Dr. Nancy Searle received her doctorate in curriculum and instruction, science education, from the University of Houston and a bachelor’s degree in history from Armstrong State College (now Armstrong Atlantic State University) in Savannah, Ga. Dr. Searle is currently an associate professor at Baylor College of Medicine in the departments of pediatrics and internal medicine where she is director of the Academy of Distinguished Educators and director of faculty development and recognition.
Research Interest
Dr. Searle’s research interests include the impact of faculty development activities on the degree to which participants become educational change agents for their departments and/or their institution as a whole, and on the teaching, evaluation, educational research, and overall educational scholarship skills of faculty development participants.
